Corpus Christi parks and rec programs impacted by weather

The rain is affecting some activities with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department. Here is an update on some City recreation programs:

Latchkey Camps remain open.

The Park Master Plan Public Meeting scheduled for today at 6:00 p.m. at Lindale Senior Center will be rescheduled.

The Bay Jammin’ Concert scheduled for Thursday, June 21, at the Cole Park Amphitheater has been cancelled.

Athletics: All Sports Camps for this week have been cancelled.

Recreation Centers: Joe Garza and Oak Park Recreation Centers are closed.

Tennis Centers: Al Kruse Tennis Center is closed.

Senior Centers: Lindale, Zavala and Broadmoor Senior Centers are closed. Also, meals to homebound residents will be limited due to residential street flooding.

Aquatics: Outdoor pools are closed. Natatorium is open.
