CCISD made an announcement during their Board meeting and on social media.
The Board announced today that their Board president and trustee, Tony Elizondo stepped down due to demands of a recent job change.
The new president is Catherine Susser. Vice president is Alice Upshaw Hawkins. Jane D. Bell is Secretary. Dr. Tony Diaz will serve as Assistant Secretary. And Marty Bell and John Longoria are Trustees.
We valued Mr. Elizondo’s role as an active listener. He frequently visited campuses and community events, asking for feedback on issues that were before the board. We know that, as a proud Moody Trojan, Mr. Elizondo will always be an enthusiastic advocate for CCISD.
