More than 1,500 residences were without power this morning as AEP worked to get services restored in Corpus Christi this morning.
According to AEP, the power outage was reported at 10:36 a.m. in an area that spans between the Del Mar College east campus and Ocean Drive.
At time of reporting, AEP says about 900 customers remain without power.
According to AEP, the service interruption was caused by recent rains, and repairs are expected to be complete around 1:30 p.m.
