A Wisconsin woman has been arrested after allegedly hacking social media sites to recruit on behalf of the Islamic State terrorist group.

According to authorities, the mother of two provided instructions on how to make explosives and biological weapons. Investigators say 45-year-old Waheba Dais used social media to distribute information on making bombs and plan chemical attacks.

Dais is a lawful permanent resident of the US but is originally from Jerusalem. She moved here in the 1990’s and gained citizenship through marriage.

In a 15 page federal complaint, Dais is accused of using multiple social media platforms to pledge allegiance to ISIS, encourage recruitment, and attack planning for ISIS.

The FBI says Dais suggested potential targets for attacks, such as street festivals and celebrations in the summer, or churches.

Dais had a first appearance in court today and faces 20 years in prison.
