Police responded to the intersection of Valdez Drive and West Point Road just after 8:00 pm Sunday night after getting multiple reports of gunshots ringing out.
When police arrived at the scene, police say they found multiple shell casings in the street.
Police say that after talking to residents in the neighborhood, two groups of men got into a disturbance that led to a shootout.
Officers added a person, who may have been involved in the incident, was found with a gunshot wound in another part of the city. Their condition is not known at this time.
Police added they do not have any suspect information to release at this time. Crime Scene Investigators were called out to the scene to taking pictures of the crime scene and collect the shell casings.
