City crews were called to a Southside intersection where a shallow sinkhole occurred late this afternoon.
A contractor working in the intersection area of Flour Bluff Drive and Ramfield Drive caused a water main break which then caused a shallow sinkhole in the road. The asphalt broke apart and filled with the gushing water.
There is no word on how long repairs would take and if the intersection will remain closed.
