CORPUS CHRISTI – For the first time in school history, the Veterans Memorial Eagles are state bound in baseball.
They will play Forney in the 5A semi-finals Thursday night at Dell Diamond in Round Rock starting at 7pm.
Cheer on the Eagles Tuesday evening before they leave for Round Rock at the community-wide pep rally.
The pep rally will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Cabaniss Sports Complex.
The evening will include a unity cheer by CCISD cheerleaders as well as a cheer led by the VMHS squad and a performance by the VMHS band.
VMHS baseball leaves for the tournament Wednesday morning.
The UIL Baseball State Tournament runs from June 6th through 9th.
Games will be held at UFCU Disch-Falk Field – The University of Texas at Austin as well as Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
