Unfortunately, we’ve arrived at the point in the year where the forecast becomes a bit of a broken record. We continue to observe hot and dry weather with little relief in sight. In creasing winds over the past few days have offered slight relief from the stifling highs and the humidity. Heat index values continue to reach above 100 degrees almost every day. This weekend we will remain in the same weather pattern with winds lessening on Sunday,

Friday night will offer little relief with high humidity and lows near 80 degrees. Partly cloudy skies SSE winds up to 15 MPH. Low of 78 degrees.

Saturday will be sunny, hot and breezy once again. Cloudy skies in the morning will give way to afternoon sunshine. Winds will pick up in the afternoon SSE 5-20 MPH. Heat index up to 104 degrees. High of 95 for Corpus Christi.

Saturday night will be yet another muggy, warm night. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. Winds will lessen overnight. Low of 75 degrees.

Expect less of a breeze on Sunday, but just as much heat and humidity. Winds will only blow up to 15 MPH out of the SSE. Heat index up to 102 degrees. High of 94 for Corpus.

Sunday night will be warm and tranquil with partly cloudy skies. Low of 75 degrees.

Have a safe and happy weekend! Stay cool and hydrated.
