Local schools offering free meals for kids through summer break

School is almost out for students, and that means no more classes and no more meals provided. But thankfully, for the past several years the USDA has given grants to cities across America for a free summer meals program.

CCISD will be serving breakfast and hot lunch throughout the summer at 31 locations.

The meals are free of charge to anyone under the age of 18, and you do not have to be a student of CCISD to receive a free meal.

*Times and locations are subject to change.

For more information, visit here.

A full list of locations will be on the CCISD website.

Other locations in our viewing area are participating in the program as well.

Visit the SummerFood website interactive map and type in your zip code for the nearest participating location. Note: you may need to change the "date" to a later date (after school ends) for the locations to show on the map.
