Today the gates will open for the Buc Days Carnival at 5pm and closes at 10 p.m.
Thursdays are dollar night so one dollar gets your through the door and then each ride is only a buck…that’s $1 tonight only. Organizers have added live music to the festivities and are eager to provide non-stop entertainment for anyone who attends.
The traditional "Dunking of the Mayor" took place 6pm with Mayor McComb getting soaked by the Buccaneers. Local artist, Ty Dietz is tonight’s musical entertainment.
Down Shoreline, specifically the Selena Auditorium the 65th Annual Las Donas De La Corte Buccaneer Days Coronation will get underway at approximately 7:30. A crowd of 2,000 people is expected to be on hand to witness a display of a royal court with ties to Spanish culture.
