Corpus Christi’s Officer of the Year has been named.
Senior Officer Samantha Baldwin got the award for her work with the DWI enforcement unit.
The department says Baldwin made 379 DWI arrests last year.
That’s an achievement no other officer has made in the history of the department.
Baldwin said she’s just doing her job
She said she’s just trying to make Corpus Christi a better place to live.
