Lois Riess has been arrested. Law enforcement recieved a tip that Riess was in South Padre Island, Texas. It is believed that she was arrested at a restaurant Thursday around 8:25 p.m.
Public Information Officer for South Padre Island Police Department say positive ID is pending fingerprint analysis.
Riess has been a fugitive wanted in connection for the murder of her husband and another woman. She was considered a dangerous person by law enforcement.
Marshals are expected to hold a press conference.
