A couple is accused of stealing more than $7,500.00 worth of electronics.
The Corpus Christi Police Department needs your help catching the suspects.
It’s the Crime of the Week.
It happened on March 19, 2018 at a department store in the 3800 block of IH 69.
Police say the man and woman worked together to steal electronics.
The pair removed a toy from a large box and hid all of the items in the oversized box.
The couple then took the box to the register to pay for the single item and left the store with all of the hidden electronics.
Some of the items stolen included iPods, iPads, Beats Headphones and other electronics.
Detectives believe the suspects may try to sell the items on websites life Trash To Treasures and Craigslist.
The total value of the items is estimated to be over $7,500.
Police believe the couple may be driving a white SUV.
