A man accused in the murder of Breanna Wood was back in court Thursday for a hearing on the status of an attorney.

26-year-old Joseph Tejeda was given a court appointed attorney.

Tejeda is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.

Wood’s remains were found last week at an abandoned home near Bluntzer.

A medical examiner ruled she had been fatally shot in the back of the head.

Tejeda again made inappropriate hand gestures and grinned as he walked out of the courtroom.
