Miller High School's senior quarterback Andrew Body has been named to the 2020 Whataburger Super Team.
The team is co-sponsored by Dave Campbell's Texas Football, and was voted on by more than 300,000 fans at the magazine's website, TexasFootball.com
Body was named along with 39 other players. He is the only player from the Coastal Bend region to be named to the team, however Port Lavaca Calhoun running back Steve Johnson also was named to the team. Calhoun plays Miller in District 15-4A, Division I.
Body also was among the magazine's 10 finalists for the Mr. Texas High School Football Player of the Year Award.
“This is a list of the finest players in Texas high school football and picking out the best of the best is hard work," said Texas Football managing editor Greg Tepper. "But I commend the fans — they selected a fine group of athletes that represent the best of Texas high school football all across the state.”
Body plans to continue his football career at Texas Southern University in the fall.
