CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Padre Island National Seashore will be temporarily closing for the holiday weekend, at the request of Nueces County and the city of Corpus Christi.
The park will be closed to all visitors starting at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The park will reopen on Monday, April 13 for day-use only. At that time park operating hours will continue between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
No overnight camping or parking will be allowed.
