Realms Con is back this weekend

Pop culture collides at the 15th annual Realms Con this weekend!

If you are interested in anime, gaming, comic books, celebrities, artists, vendors, concerts, cosplay, interactive games, a maid cafe, panels, and workshops; Realms Con is for you.

"Realms Con, South Texas’ longest running family-friendly multimedia convention, welcomes fans of anime, comics, music, video games, and cinema every year for an amazing, unique weekend in a safe, fun, judgement-free environment," their event page says.

The convention starts Friday, Oct. 4 and goes until Sunday Oct. 6. It will be at the Emerald Beach Hotel. There are special deals on rooms for Realms Con attendees. Call 361-883-5731 for more information about that.

10 and under get in free with an adult. You can get a weekend badge at the door for $50, a two day pass for $40 on Saturday, or you can get individual day passes. Friday is $30, Saturday is $35, and Sunday is $20.

Cos-players are asked to keep it PG-13 for this family friendly festival.
