Island Joe’s Coffee and Gallery has launched a new effort to keep our Gulf beaches clean.
The coffee shop is offering customers a free iced coffee if they bring in a bag of trash collected from the beach.
The owners tell us they were inspired after doing some beach cleanups after Hurricane Hanna.
“Island Joe’s is all about community, getting involved in the community, being able to help as much as we can,” said co-owner Bryan Tomlinson.
Tomlinson said he hopes other island businesses will follow the suit and come up with their own incentives for customers.
