St. John Paul II High Schools hosts their annual Live Nativity Scene starting this weekend.

The tradition has been around since the school opened in 2006.

Every year, students get together to organize a telling of the Nativity story by dressing up and posing in front of scenery.

"Every grade has a role to play from Freshman Shepherds and Angels, to Seniors portraying the Virgin Mary and Joseph and every grade in between." says their press release.

The interactive event allows people to walk or drive around the St. John Paul II campus and witness the Nativity story live while enjoying complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

You can check it out between 6 pm and 8 pm starting this Sunday at St. John Paul II High School, 3036 Saratoga Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas.

If you miss it on Sunday, you can still catch it the following days on Dec. 2 and 3.
