Join the GROW Local South Texas Garden Party

Food, Music, Art, Learning, and Bugs at the 2018 Neighborhood Garden Party. 

GROW Local South Texas is hosting their annual Neighborhood Garden Party in Tom Graham Park on May 20th.

The party helps bring awareness to The Learning Garden located at Tom Graham Park and it’s all free. The only cost is the optional farm-to-table BBQ meal for $10. There will be live music, art for the kids, games, educational talks, garden tours, and a Ladybug release!

It’s a working garden so be sure to bring closed-toed shoes to protect your toes from bugs. 

The schedule:

4:00 pm – Arrive, Set up your Picnic location. (bring chairs, tent and table for most personal comfort)
4:00-5:00 – Ongoing Garden Tours
4:15 – Gabriel Vega, South Texas Gardener talks South Texas Gardening
4:30 – Food Service Begins
4:45 – Sunny Pray, Beneficial Insect Talk
5:15 – Memorial Garden Dedication with The AGC Construction Leadership
5:30 – Tai Chi Demonstration
5:45 – Casey Williams, The Soil Web
6:00-7:00 – Garden Tours Continue
6:15 – Justin Hodge, Honey Bees
6:45 – Lady Bug Release

It’s all happening at Tom Graham Park from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. 3808 Up River Rd
