The City of Corpus Christi’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Coastal Bend Area Agency on Aging are hosting a Medicare Open Enrollment event.
This Tuesday, citizens can enroll for Medicare in person at the Garden Senior Center at 5325 Greely Drive.
The event is totally free on Oct. 29 from 9 am to 4 pm.
State Certified Benefits Counsellor’s will help people review Medicare coverage options and offer information about choosing a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) for 2020. They will also help determine eligibility for Extra Help with Medicare prescription drug plan costs.
The Medicare Open Enrollment period is October 15 – December 7, 2019.
Attendees should bring a Driver’s license or personal identification cards, a list of their current medications, and current health insurance documents.
