More local schools, ISDs providing students curbside lunches next week

Several schools and school districts in the Coastal Bend are offering grab-and-go lunches to help parents with a few extra kids at home during their extended Spring Breaks.

The Corpus Christi Independent School District, Gregory-Portland ISD, Flour Bluff ISD and Kingsville's Jubilee Academy are providing students free lunches.

Students 18 years old and younger are eligible to pick up free food. Services will be available Monday, March 16-Friday, March 20.

Hours are as follows:

CCISD: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at any of its six high schools

G-P: noon - 1:30 p.m. at Austin and Clark elementaries

Flour Bluff: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of the FBISD central kitchen

Jubilee Academy: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Parents must have their children with them to pick up food; food will not be provided for adults.

All services will have curbside service, and ask parents to not get out of the car.

CCISD will be providing a sandwich, vegetables, fruit and milk. See more here.

Jubilee said its offerings will consist of protein, grains, vegetables and fruit, and that milk also will be available.

Flour Bluff did not provide a menu.
