Hopefully everyone had a fantastic weekend and had the opportunity to experience one of the stray showers that made their way into the region yesterday!

It was not a big gully washer for anyone by any means, but it was certainly nice to see a few showers lingering in the area.

It may be hard to believe, but there is a frontal boundary that is draped right along the Coastal Bend this morning that is ushering in a northerly component to our wind. Unfortunately, we are already on the tail end of this front and the cool impacts of it are minimal at best.

We'll still see a decent amount of sunshine today, but wind the boundary in the area, we'll see the breeze pick up just a bit and eventually turn more easterly around 10-20 mph with a high about 80 degrees. We'll look for those highs in the upper 70s to low 80s across our area this afternoon.

Tonight, the winds will pick up offshore and small craft advisories will in effect. Boaters and mariners should use caution. Otherwise, look for partly cloudy conditions with a good amount of humidity in place and an overnight low of 66.

Winds will pick up further on Tuesday, ahead of yet another frontal boundary that will arrive Wednesday morning. This one also looks to be weak in nature and will do little to cool us off with highs pushing the middle 80s for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon.

However, we could pick up a few stray showers on Tuesday with the boundary in the area and providing lift in the atmosphere.

Thanksgiving looks to be on the warm side in the Coastal Bend with morning lows in the upper 50s to low 60s and afternoon highs nearing the middle 80s under a good mix of clouds and sunshine.

Bigger changes look to arrive by the end of the week.

On Friday evening, a stronger cold front will begin pushing into the area sparking scattered to widely scattered showers in South Texas. This condition will hold for much of Saturday and Sunday with lows in the 50s and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. This presents us our best opportunity for seeing area-wide rain in quite some time.

Have a great day!
