CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Warm and humid conditions persist over the Coastal Bend to begin your work week, and an overnight cold front will not change the picture much.

After a work week with fair skies, another cold front arrives Thursday night to bring a chance of showers and a more significant cool-down.

Tonight's cold front does not have much moisture or instability to work with, so no rainfall is expected with this system. Near normal highs and slightly above normal lows will persist with sunny afternoons and clear nights through Thursday.

A second cold front sweeps through the region late Thursday night and will be associated with more instability and moisture.

That will mean isolated showers Thursday night through mid-morning on Friday, and a windy day Friday. Following a 10 to 12 degree cool-down Friday and Saturday, expect warmer conditions to return next week. Highs remain in the 80s, except 70s Friday and Saturday.

Lows range from the middle 60s to near 70, except near 60 Saturday morning.
