CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Skies will be mainly fair over the weekend, with warm afternoons and mild nights, as a dry atmosphere lingers over the region.

But by early Monday, a Canadian cold front arrives, bringing cooler and very dry air.

Along the front, isolated showers will dot the Coastal Bend. With air temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s, the weekend will be ideal for outdoor activities, especially with the expected low humidity.

Monday's cold front should arrive by mid-morning, limiting daytime highs to the middle 80s with a gusty north wind.

Look for very dry air behind the front, leaving cooler nights and mild afternoons for the rest of the work week.

Expect highs in the lower to middle 80s, with lows in the lower to middle 60s.
