CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Abundant Gulf moisture and a nearby warm front are generating a combination of dense sea fog, drizzle and isolated rain showers late today.
Those features will persist overnight and into early Sunday. Windy and warmer conditions will prevail by Sunday afternoon, with a midday cold front Monday bringing isolated showers followed by cooler and drier air.
Temperatures will cool gradually through the work week as dry Canadian air filters from the Central Plains into South Texas. Another cold front arrives midday Wednesday, but with little moisture available only partly cloudy skies will prevail.
Afternoon readings will be generally in the 70s, with near 80 Monday and in the middle 60s Thursday. Lows will remain in the 40s and 50s, except 60s Sunday and Saturday.
