CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Tropical Storm Beta may have weakened to a depression this afternoon, but its impact on Southeast Texas continues to devastate.
For the Coastal Bend, above normal tides accompany only light showers late today.
Mainly fair skies and warmer temperatures will prevail Wednesday through Saturday.
Many locales in the Coastal Bend received in excess of an inch of rain from Beta, with some northern areas collecting 3 to 5 inches.
Beta will pull northeast into Louisiana overnight, clearing skies and leaving warmer, drier air in its wake in the Coastal Bend.
The remainder of the work week will feature sunny afternoons and clear nights with low humidity.
A weak upper level disturbance Sunday will bring isolated showers.
High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to lower 90s, with lows from the upper 60s to lower 70s.
