Very warm, humid air will be over South Texas through Thursday before another cold front arrives, cooling temperatures slightly for Friday and Saturday.
Clouds will be persistent this week with the onshore flow, and a spot shower or t-storm is possible mainly inland Tuesday.
Showers and t-storms are more likely late Thursday with the possibility of a few strong or severe storms.
As the cold front stalls over South Texas, showers will remain possible Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures will cool into the 70s Friday behind the front.
Tonight: Cloudy with areas of fog and lows in the lower 70s with light southeast winds.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, warm and humid with a spot shower or t-storm possible inland and afternoon high temperatures near 80 at the coast to near 90 inland and southeast winds at 8-16 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with highs from the low 80s at the coast to the lower 90s inland.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms late in the day and highs in the 80s to near 90.
