A very small weather maker will move through our atmosphere tonight and will bring the slight chance of a storm. The chance for rain will be highest over the Brush Country.
Tonight: Small chance of a big storm
A few storms are likely to develop along the Rio Grande near Laredo. They will be pushed eastward, but will weaken as they do so. If all the ingredients come together perfectly, these storms may be able to hold together as they reach the Coastal Bend. The odds are slim that they will make it, but if they do, don’t be surprised to hear some thunder.
Saturday: A stray shower or two
If storms form tonight, then the chance of rain on Saturday will go down, as the atmosphere will be too worked over. However, a few stray showers may still form, especially over the Brush Country. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with a high near 80 degrees.
Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds
We’ll see partly cloudy skies on Sunday with temperatures in the low 80s.
