Hopefully you didn’t put away your coat because winter is far from over. A potent cold front tonight will bring in a strong wind making it feel like it’s in the 30s tomorrow morning.

Wednesday’s forecast

The cold front will move through Corpus Christi around 3 a.m. Throughout the predawn hours, showers and an occasional rumble of thunder will be possible. After that, a strong north wind, cloudy skies and temperatures in the 40s will make for a cold morning.

Skies gradually clear as the day progresses eventually leaving us with sunshine and a high in the mid-50s.

Thursday’s forecast

The winds will relax on Wednesday night, allowing the thermometer to plummet to the mid-30s by Thursday morning.  A very light freeze will be possible for the inland, rural areas. We’ll warm to the 60s with sunny skies on Thursday.

Friday’s forecast

Temperatures will stay in the 60s on Friday with sunshine.
