If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, you’ll probably be disappointed. Neither the odds, nor the forecast are in your favor.

Friday and Saturday

Sunny skies will dominate as we wrap up the week, and highs will be in the 70s. Friday will be the cooler day with a high near 70 degrees. But a breezy south wind will take Saturday to the upper 70s.

Sunday’s forecast

By Sunday, a cold front will move into the area, but it will stall out as it moves in. This will result in mostly cloudy skies. The temperatures will depend on how far south the front moves before stalling, but as of now, the forecast calls for a high in the low 70s.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

The stalled front sticks around through Christmas which will keep mostly cloudy skies in place. A stray shower or two could also form. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s and even the nights will be mild—in the 60s. Expect the breeze to pick up for Christmas day, but it won’t be a cold breeze since it will be coming off the Gulf.
