After a warm start to the week, a cold front is poised to deliver a chilly blow to the Coastal Bend by Friday.
Wednesday and Thursday
Wednesday will bring some morning fog and clouds that will give way to partly cloudy skies and a warm afternoon. Highs will again be in the upper 80s.
Thursday will bring a little more cloud cover and a slight chance of rain to the area. As a result of the extra clouds, the temperatures will be a couple of degrees cooler than Wednesday.
Friday’s cold front
A strong cold front will enter the Coastal Bend on Friday morning, and with it will come scattered showers and maybe a couple of thunderstorms too. Temperatures will fall quickly behind the cold front, leaving us in the 50s during the afternoon. This along with the north wind will make Friday quite chilly. Even by Saturday, the chilly weather looks to stick around.
