There were glimpses of sunshine across parts of the Coastal Bend on Thursday, but sunshine will be more widespread for Friday.
Friday’s forecast
We are still likely to have some mid- and upper level clouds on Friday, but overall it will be a lot sunnier. Temperatures will warm up to the mid-70s and the winds will be light. Friday night football should be in good shape in terms of weather. Though you might plan on taking a jacket for the evening since it will get a little cool once the sun sets.
Weekend forecast
The weekend will be nearly perfect with sunshine and warm temperatures. The winds will also be unusually light. Temperatures should reach the 80s both Saturday and Sunday as a westerly wind acts to warm us up.
Starting next week
The warm weather looks to stick around through the start of next week as well with temperatures in the 80s and mostly sunny skies. It’s not until the middle of next week that we’re looking for our next cold front.
