Weather stays quiet but warm through the weekend

After having the rainiest month all year long in September, we’ve finally caught a dry spell. It looks like the rest of the week will remain nice and dry across the Coastal Bend.

Thursday’s forecast

Expect partly cloudy skies with light winds for Thursday. Highs will be near 90 degrees, but the dreaded humidity will keep it feeling like summertime. A quick shower can’t be ruled out, but overall rain chances will be extremely low. We could see some fog during the morning for the inland areas, but this shouldn’t be a problem for areas along the coast.

The weekend

Friday will nearly be a repeat of Thursday with temperatures topping out near 90 degrees. By the weekend, high pressure will finally start to back off to the east, allowing temperatures to fall into the upper 80s. This will also allow a little more moisture to flow into the area, which will let some very slight rain chances return to the Coastal Bend.
