Slight rain chances back in the forecast

After a long and hot week last week, we’re going to shake things up for the week ahead. It’ll still be hot, and most of us will stay dry. But, a few lucky folks may cash in on a shower or two.

Tuesday’s forecast

The second day of school won’t be too much different than the first. It’s going to be hot with a high near 96 degrees for Tuesday afternoon. That will be after a muggy morning in the mid-70s. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies will move overhead throughout the day, and the breeze will be a typical Corpus Christi breeze. A couple of stray showers can’t be ruled out, but most of the rain activity should remain over the Gulf.

Mid-week forecast

By Wednesday, the winds are going to lighten up. In addition to this, we may see a slight increase in moisture during this time. This will bring some stray showers for Wednesday, and some isolated showers by Thursday. None of the rain chances are great, but at least it’s something.
