We’ve got more sunshine and warm temperatures on the way for the next few days, but Hurricane Lane is making the story in Hawaii.

Friday’s forecast

Expect Friday to bring more of the same weather we’ve seen all week—sunny skies and temperatures in the 90s. It doesn’t get much more typical than this for late August weather.

The weekend

This weekend is the last weekend before almost all kids head back to school. It looks like we should be in for a good weather weekend—lots of sun and warm temperatures.

Hurricane Lane

Hurricane Lane is currently bearing down on the Hawaiian Islands. It continues to remain a powerful hurricane as it passes through the islands. Heavy rain and big waves will be the biggest impacts for Hawaii, but gusty winds will also cause problems and power outages.
