If you’re heading to the beach or the water this weekend, you should be in pretty good shape. Just be sure to take lots of sunscreen and water—it’s going to be hot.
Saturday’s forecast
Mostly sunny skies will flyover over the Coastal Bend throughout our Saturday with high temperatures reaching the mid-90s for Corpus Christi. The breeze will once again be elevated, and the humidity will just add to the heat. It will feel like 105 degrees plus during the peak heating of the afternoon.
Sunday’s forecast
Not much changes for Sunday—more heat and more sun. Highs will peak in the mid-90s and the heat index will again be over 105 degrees.
Next week
Monday will just be more of the same, but by the middle of next week, the weather pattern may start to shift allowing some stray showers back into the region. This is still a ways out, but there may be a small glimmer of hope for some rain in the area.
