It is going to be a very hot and humid weekend here in the Coastal Bend.

A Heat Advisory will be in effect from one o’clock this afternoon through 7 pm tonight.

This means heat index values will range from 110 to 115 degrees.

People should use extreme caution when spending extended time outdoors.

Our actual daytime high should be around 92 degrees.

It will also be rather breezy.

The winds will be blowing out of the south at 15 to 20 miles per hour.

The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with mild conditions.

Expect an overnight low around 78 degrees.

The forecast for tomorrow calls for much of the same.

Expect an afternoon high around 92 degrees again.

We will see increasing moisture for the end to the weekend.

This could lead to a few isolated showers Sunday night.

There is a much better chance of scattered showers on Monday.

However, we are not expecting a repeat of the flooding rains we saw this past week.

Drier weather conditions will return for the latter half of the workweek.
