Another weekend started off hot in the Coastal Bend, with temperatures reaching 93 degrees on Saturday in Corpus Christi.
Things were different inland, however, with some locations over 100. We saw heat index values between 105-110 in the afternoon. Similar conditions are on the way for Sunday.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies and an overnight low around 76 degrees give way in the morning to the heat with a high around 94. It will be a little less breezy with winds out of the southeast at 10-15 mph.
High pressure continues to dominate our weather through next weekend, with very little chance of rain. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid-90s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 70s.
