It was a breezy and hot start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend.
We made it up to 90 degrees this afternoon.
Our peak wind gusts was 36 miles per hour.
Our forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy and breezy conditions with an overnight low of 76 degrees.
We can expect similar weather conditions on Sunday with the winds tapering off a bit from what we had today.
We will see increasing moisture for the start to the workweek.
This will lead to a few isolated showers possible on Monday and Tuesday.
We could definitely use some rain.
We are close to 5 inches below normal with a rainfall totals so far this year.
We will return to hot and humid weather conditions midweek.
There is very little chance of rain in the latter half of the forecast period.
