Upper level high pressure that has brought the hot dry weather all this week will shift east then south resulting in strong surface winds initially then an increase in Gulf moisture. This will eventually lead to a few badly needed showers mainly on Monday once the winds relax.
Saturday will be windy with gusts to 40 mph during the afternoon otherwise a mix of clouds and sunshine very humid and hot with a high of 91 and a heat index of 100+ during the mid-afternoon hours.
Saturday night will also be breezy warm and humid with a low of 77.
Sunday not quite as windy resulting in a stray shower still hot and humid and under variably cloudy skies we will have a high near 90.
