UPDATE: Capital murder warrant served for man in connection to Kinsolving Court murder

FRIDAY, MAY 23 - 5:15 p.m. - A capital murder warrant has been served on Friday for a 37-year-old man in connection with the May 15th murder of a woman on the 2300 block of Kinsolving Court.

Quentin Brown is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. Detectives served the warrant to the Nueces County Jail where Brown has been held on unrelated charges.

Police say this was not a random act of violence and that the two knew each other.

UPDATE: Friday, 5:00 P.m. - The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the person found dead at the Wiggins Homes on Thursday as 48-year-old Keyendia Washington. The death has been ruled a homicide by police. There is no word from the police whether they have identified a suspect.

UPDATE: Friday, 11:15 a.m. - Corpus Christi Police Department says foul play is suspected in the death of the man on Kinsolving.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at the Wiggins Homes near Morgan Avenue.

Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Kinsolving Court near Wiggins Park on Buford Street around 7:18 a.m.

Police say one person is dead after being stabbed at the Wiggins Homes on Thursday morning.

According to CCPD, they found an unknown man dead from what they are calling "unknown circumstances."
