A 28-year-old man has been arrested by Jim Wells County Sheriff's deputies after he escaped from the county jail.
Daniel Trevino will be charged with escape after he climbed the fence and climbed over a razor wire in the jail's recreation area earlier Tuesday.
Deputies said the escapee received several lacerations from the wire and was apprehended near the 800 block of North Adames in Alice.
Trevino was transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds before he was returned to jail.
