“Meet the Blues” community event ahead of Wings Over South Texas Air Show

Before the high-flying action kicks off at the Wings Over South Texas Air Show, the City of Kingsville and the Kingsville Visitor's Center are inviting the community to come together for a special evening event. "Meet the Blues" will take place on Friday, April 17th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the JK Northway Expo Center, offering a free, family-friendly night of community celebration and a rare opportunity to meet the legendary Blue Angels team in person.

Attendees can explore information booths hosted by local nonprofit organizations and community partners, learn about available services, and volunteer opportunities. Guests can also check out the Working Wheels display — an interactive showcase featuring vehicles and equipment from the Kingsville Police and Fire Department, Kingsville Public Works Department, Kleberg County Sheriff's Department, Kleberg County Attorney's Specialized Task Force, and more.

The hands-on displays give community members an up-close look at the tools and vehicles that keep Kingsville and the surrounding area safe and running every day. "Meet the Blues" is free and open to the public, and residents and visitors of all ages are encouraged to attend.
