The City of Aransas Pass will be celebrating the Fourth of July with food, fun, and fireworks.  The day’s fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with the holiday ending with a big fireworks display at approximately 9:45 p.m.

The City is promising free food and plenty of games and activities for the whole family.  The event begins at 6:30 pm inside Community Park located at 400 E. Johnson.  The fireworks show is slated to kick off around 9:45 pm or whenever it gets dark.  The Aransas Pass Police Department staff will be handing out goodies to children and parents throughout the night.

The City and police department are asking that everyone attending pick up any trash.  Trash bags will be available.  Ask a patrolling officer.

City Ordinance – Fireworks

In general, the popping and possession of fireworks within the mainland areas of Aransas Pass are PROHIBITED. This means – unless you are east of the Dale Miller Bridge (HWY 361 bridge), violations will result in hefty fines.
