CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – On Saturday, August 11, the City of Corpus Christi Municipal Court Juvenile Case Managers will host a FREE Youth Curfew and Truancy Prevention event at the American Bank Center, Henry Garrett Ballroom, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. The goal of this event is to inform parents, youth and educators on curfew and truancy prevention through community engagement and awareness. Topics will include curfew laws, truancy, parent and youth obligations, prevention and motivation. Community agencies will also be present to provide free resources and materials to support families. An important aspect of the Juvenile Case Management Program is the partnerships with the school system and community agencies to help support our youth with resources and a plan for moving forward.
