Though the Fourth is behind us, the chance for rain continues. Another weather system will move into the area on Friday which will spark another round of scattered showers.
Thursday’s forecast
We’ll see a good bit of cloud cover today left over from the overnight rainfall. This will work to keep temperatures below normal, likely not getting out of the 80s. We will also see the chance for some rain again today. The atmosphere is pretty worked over from all of the rain last night, so while scattered showers are likely during the afternoon, they will be fairly widely separated. There will be peeks of sunshine in the morning and in between showers that move over during the afternoon.
Friday’s forecast
As we wrap up the week, we will watch another area of low pressure move into the area. This will once again elevate our rain chances come Friday afternoon. Expect scattered showers to develop, some of which could bring heavy downpours. Where it rains, it will rain heavily since the atmosphere is pumped full of moisture.
The presence of rain in the area will also keep our temperatures in the 80s again.
The weekend
Our atmosphere will still be capable of producing rainfall even through the weekend. Expect isolated to scattered rain coverage especially during the afternoons. However, there is likely to be a little more sunshine in the area which will allow temperatures to climb to near 90 degrees.
