CORPUS CHRISTI - Police arrested a man in connection with a weekend shooting.

Corpus Christi Police Department's gang unit arrested 18-year-old Jose Erebia Wednesday afternoon.

Their investigation determined Erebia was involved in the shooting near Gloria Hicks Elementary School

CORPUS CHRISTI - There was a lot of chaos at Gloria Hicks Elementary School after a group of guys driving by in a car shot into a crowd of kids and young adults hitting three people.

Police say when the suspects fired the shots the victims took off running also dropping their cell phones
