CORPUS CHRISTI - Chief of Police Floyd Simpson says two of his officers returned fire and killed a barricaded suspect during a standoff on Salem Drive overnight.

Officials say 56-year-old Daniel Scott had called 911 around 8:30 p.m. Sunday to report he was armed, barricaded inside his home
