CORPUS CHRISTI - A hit-and-run driver damaged a city building late Sunday night.

It happened around 11:00 p.m. as the driver was speeding on Shoreline near Whataburger by the Bay and lost control of the car.

The driver hit a water and gas meter at the city's storm drainage building
